Thank God it's Friday.

Before, Fridays doesn't have any appeal to me at all. Include the weekends. When you're working from home, one of the perks is that you can work with flexible time. But if you allow any other schedules, appointment, visits, distractions and whatever, anywhere from Monday to Friday, your weekends are doomed! And let me just say that all my weekends before were doomed!

It's totally different now. I can now enjoy the sweetness that Friday brings!

Friday here is a glorious day for my husband and all other Pinoy engineers working in the same company. Because Friday means, there is no OT and they can go home straight at 5:15 or 5:30. Hooray for the no OT days! They are happy. The wives are even more! Haha! 

Actually, there are just two wives here - my kumareng Goldy and yours truly.

So this is their time to play basketball! They rent a basketball court for 150 yen (~ P75) each person. Sila sila ang magkakalaban. Haha! And yeah, there are Japanese too! Their Japanese colleagues take care of renting the place. Sometimes, there are Americans who joined, depends who are visiting for business.

But, my husband is no longer playing regularly for a very long time. He severely injured his ankle during an accidental fall which landed him to the hospital. He wasn't able to go to work for two days. That was how many years ago. He's now complaining that he's no longer as capable before. And he's not willing to buy an ankle support that is more expensive that his Nike shoes.

Owkey. So, the usual basketball time becomes jogging time for him. And now that we're here, his jogging time becomes "walking" time. Because really, Mommy and Sam wouldn't be able to catch him up.

On our first Friday here, we visited other Pinoys on their game. And of course, we couldn't resist to dribble and shoot the ball too!
